This drink is just as refreshing as it is detoxing. I love having a glass of this on a hot summer afternoon.

You want to allow enough time to let the flavors settle in the water. Because of that, I always prepare this before bed and allow it to refrigerate overnight so I can enjoy the next day.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 0 Minutes | Total Time: 10 Minutes

Special Equipment

  • Pitcher with lid

  • Large Spoon

Ingredients (US Standard)

  • 3/4 cup Chopped Ginger (or substitute with of 1tbsp of ground Ginger)

  • Juice of 1 Lime (or about 2 tbsp bottled Lime Juice)

  • 10 Mint Leaves

  • 6 cups of Filtered Water (or substitute with Sparkling Water)

Ingredients (Metric)*

  • 85g Chopped Ginger (or substitute with 10g of ground Ginger)

  • Juice of 1 Lime (or about 30 mL bottled Lime Juice)

  • 10 Mint Leaves

  • 1422 mL of Filtered Water (or substitute with Sparkling Water)

*All metric units are converted and should be considered more or less.

  1. Add the lime, ginger, and mint to the pitcher.

  2. Pour the water into the pitcher, and stir with a large spoon.

  3. Allow the drink to settle for a few hours before consuming, and serve cold.
